3/10/05 - Episode 20 Summary Added. A full episode summary and screenshot gallery for the new "plus one" extra episode of the third OVA series have been added to the site. Once again, the character profiles and the ever-expanding family tree have been updated to account for the revelations of this episode.

6/4/05 - Episode 19 Summary Added. A full episode summary and screenshot gallery for the sixth and formerly final episode of the third OVA series (though a seventh special episode has been scheduled for release in Autumn 2005 now) have been added to the site. Various tweaks to some of the relevant pages (Q&A, character profiles, etc) have been performed to take into account the amazing revelations of this episode. A new entry has been added to the third section of the culture guide.

16/2/05 - Episode 18 Summary Added. A full episode summary and screenshot gallery for the latest OVA episode has now been added to the episode guide. The Q&A and OVA3 info pages have also been updated to reflect the recent release date announcement for the English-language version of the new OVA episodes.

15/11/04 - Episode 17 Summary Added. After weeks of procrastination, a full episode summary and screenshot gallery for episode 17 has been added, along with some new entries to the character guide for the new faces introduced (or reappearing from episodes of GXP) in this episode. Apologies for the delay!

23/7/04 - Updates Here and There. The third page of the GXP character guide has been completed. The gallery pages have been reorganised slightly, separating out the Tenchi Muyo! images from the Pretty Sammy and GXP images. They now reside on their own pages of the gallery, and 25 new images have been added. The OVA3 Info and Q&A pages have been updated to reflect the recent announcement regarding the third OVA series being licensed for an English language release.

19/4/04 - More Song Lyrics. Song lyrics for the third OVA series closing song "Lovely Cookin'" have been added to the lyrics page, as have English lyrics for "Midnight Sun" and "You're the Worst", the opening and closing themes to Tenchi Muyo! GXP.

18/4/04 - OVA Episode 16 Summary. A full summary and screenshot gallery for the latest episode of the Tenchi Muyo! OVA series has been added to the episode guide.

27/1/04 - More GXP Characters. The second character profile page for the TV series Tenchi Muyo! GXP has been added, covering most of the regular supporting cast.

26/1/04 - New Screenshots. A screenshot gallery and in-line screenshots have been added to the OVA episode 15 summary.

25/1/04 - Episode 15 Shockwaves. With the shocking revelations of OVA episode 15, the family tree and character guides have been updated, and a full summary of the new episode has also been posted. Remember, if you don't want all the secrets spoiled before the English language releases come along (whenever that may be), read no further! Also, the site search page is working again now.

26/10/03 - Episode 14 Summary. It's been eight years coming, but the Tenchi Muyo! OVA series continues with episode 14, and a full summary of the new episode has been added to the site, along with a gallery of screenshots.

13/9/03 - Back in Action. Apologies for the recent disappearance of the site due to unknown circumstances, but things are back and running smoothly again. The tmau.cjb.net address should redirect to the new location, but if you have a link on your site to the old location, please update it to the new address.

16/8/03 - Corrections. Thanks to the input of a very knowledgeable Japanese correspondent, a few long-standing errors in the OVA character guide and the family tree have been corrected.

8/8/03 - More Song Lyrics. Three more sets of song lyrics have been added to the lyrics page - the infamous "Ōjosama to Oyobi!" ("Call Me Princess!"), Pixy Misa's hilarious "Mahō Shōjo Pixy Misa Shōka" and the ending theme to the third Pretty Sammy OVA, "Mahō no Tobira" ("Magical Door").

7/8/03 - Site Remodelled. I have made some significant changes to the structure of the site. I no longer have the time to continually update this site, so a number of incomplete sections or areas requiring high maintenance have been removed or scaled down. The game guides and family tree have now been moved to the articles section. Most of the media pages are now closed (due to the problems of hosting larger media files). The majority of the larger and more important sections of the site remain unaltered. I will be continuing to add information to the site, but on a less frequent basis.

26/6/03 - More Fan Art. Two more pictures have been added to the fan art gallery.

17/6/03 - Big News! A preliminary release date for the first episode of the third Tenchi Muyo OVA series has at last been announced. Also, another picture has been added to the fan art gallery.

12/6/03 - Fan Art Avalanche. Following a record number of fan art submissions, several more pictures have been added to the fan art gallery.

8/6/03 - More Miscellaneous Updates. The Pretty Sammy character guide has been completed with the addition of the Magical Project S pages. The fan art gallery has had several new pictures added, and the lyrics to "Ueno no Koi no Monogatari" have been added to the song lyrics page.

25/5/03 - GXP Character Guide Added. The first page of the GXP character guide, introducing the main players in the series, has been added. The fan art gallery also has one new picture.

29/4/03 - GXP Episode Guide Completed. At long last, the episode guides for all 26 episodes of Tenchi Muyo! GXP have been completed. The fan art gallery has also had a few new pieces added.

1/4/03 - For those of you interested in what Tenchi and the girls have been getting up to, the GXP episode guide has reached episode 17, the episode which features appearances by all the stars of the Tenchi Muyo OVA series. Lyrics for the opening and ending music for GXP have also been added to the song lyrics page.

28/3/03 - You wait three weeks for an update...then four of them come along at once! Apologies for the long delay between updates - server maintenance and upgrades at my web host have meant uploading the latest changes hasn't been possible for a few weeks. Anyway, several new pictures have been added to the fan art gallery, and a fan-written discussion of the Tenchi-Ryoko-Ayeka love triangle has been added to the articles section. The GXP episode guide has now reached episode 15. Finally, a new video clip of GXP has been added to the movies page.

6/3/03 - FAQ Update. The FAQ section has been shuffled a bit, sorting the questions by series, and a couple of new entries have been added.

3/3/03 - GXP Halfway Point. The GXP episode guide is now 50% complete (13 out of 26 episodes). The fan art gallery also has four new pictures.

23/2/03 - Design Change. The design of the site has been tweaked and updated a little to reflect its expansion into Pretty Sammy and GXP information. Sections are now colour-coded by series. Areas which contain general information or cover all series are based on a green template, Tenchi Muyo / Universe / in Tokyo pages are now blue, Pretty Sammy sections have been rendered in a fetching pink, and GXP-specific areas are now yellow.

14/2/03 - Series 3 Update. The information page on OAV series 3 has a very interesting update - the first official screenshot of the new episodes.

11/2/03 - Miscellaneous Updates. The detailed episode guide for Tenchi Muyo! GXP is now moving forward again. The second Pretty Sammy character page is now completed. The fan art gallery has been split into three pages, instead of the previous two, and one new picture has been added. The family tree has undergone some minor revisions.

1/2/03 - Family Tree Updated. With the new characters and revelations in the TV series Tenchi Muyo! GXP (which is set in the same continuity as the Tenchi Muyo OAVs), the family tree on this site had become a little outdated. However, after much scouring for information, a more accurate version has been completed, and is available now.

31/1/03 - New Fan Art. Apologies for the long delays between updates - work, computer problems and a change of ISP have otherwise occupied my free time! There are now some new pieces of fan art in the gallery.

18/11/02 - Pretty Sammy Episode Guide Complete. The final few episodes of the Magical Project S episode guide have been completed, and the first part of the Pretty Sammy character profiles section is now open.

23/8/02 - More on GXP. Binaroid's GXP summaries continue, taking us up to episode 20. The character profiles section has had a makeover in readiness for new pages on the characters in Pretty Sammy and GXP. Lastly, due to this site's hit counter and guestbook provider, BeSeen, closing down, I have had to switch to a new provider.

15/8/02 - Assorted Additions. The articles section is now open, with the first two articles available. The first in an article on romanizing Japanese, and the second a concise summary of the first 12 episodes of Tenchi Muyo GXP written by Binaroid and donated by Avatar, both mainstays of the official AIC message board. Some new song lyrics have also been added to the song lyrics section, and some more pictures added to the fan art gallery.

14/7/02 - Six Lovely Figures. After 4½ years in operation, TM!AU has reached that great milestone of 100,000 visits, an amazing 65,000 of which have been in this year alone. Thanks to everyone who has visited, supported and contributed to the site over its existence thus far.

12/7/02 - More Marvellous Media. There is another new video clip in the movies page, and four new pieces of fan art have been added to the gallery.

4/7/02 - Bits and Pieces. Some new song lyrics have been added to the lyrics page. The fan art gallery has some new pictures, and has been split into two pages to speed up loading (a random selection script will take you to one of the two pages at random). The movies page is back up, and the problem with the music page has been fixed.

17/6/02 - Fan Art Explosion. Eight new pieces of fan art have been added to the fan art gallery. Also, the movies page has been split into three sections to speed up loading, and three new movies have been added, including the opening sequence of the new Tenchi Muyo! GXP television series, currently showing in Japan.

9/6/02 - More Episode Guides. TM!AU is expanding to encompass the two Tenchi Muyo spin-off series, GXP and Pretty Sammy, and in that spirit some new episode guide pages have been added. At the moment only a few episodes have been covered (these things take time to write, you know!), but more will be added as they are completed. Keep an eye on this site for more GXP and Pretty Sammy content in future. Another piece of fan art has also been added to the gallery.

9/5/02 - GXP Information & Episode Guide. The information page on the new Tenchi Muyo GXP series has been updated, and a summary of the first episode added.

1/5/02 - Some Minor Tweaks. The culture guide has been split into several pages to speed up loading, and has had some new entries and a bibliography added. There is a new picture in the fan art gallery, plus some other little changes to various pages.

5/4/02 - Search Facility Added. A long-overdue addition to the site launches today - a search engine! This terrific new feature should help you find the information you want quickly and easily.

6/2/02 - Cuts Guide Kicks Off Again. Thanks to the sterling efforts of Kyle Pope in producing lists of the cuts to Toonami shows on the Anime News Network (www.animenewsnetwork.com), the cuts guide here on TM!AU now includes the differences between the US and UK cuts to the Tenchi series. At present, only the pages for the OAV series and first few episodes of Tenchi Universe have been updated, but more will be added over the next few days as I compile the information. In addition, the fan art gallery has a bunch of new images, the culture guide has some new information, and the character profiles pages are part-way through a minor redesign, now including details of the voice artists for secondary characters and other minor roles.

31/1/02 - More Little Updates. Two new pictures have been added to the fan art gallery. The character profile pages have been updated to include more Japanese spellings of character names.

10/1/02 - 40,000 Hits Reached.

8/1/02 - Movies Page Reopened. At long last, the movies page of the media section has been reopened, featuring trailers for the Tenchi movies, openings from the TV series and various other clips. The Ryo-Ohki screen-saver in the computer goodies section is also available again.

7/1/02 - Encyclopedia Restructured. The mini-encyclopedia has been altered to include more specific sections. The first new addition is a family tree diagram for the OAV series. The fan art gallery has been updated with submissions from another new artist.

1/1/02 - New Year, New Look. In this, the first update of 2002, TM!AU gets a new look with updated site graphics and colour scheme. The fan art gallery has also been reworked to make the layout neater and improve its loading time.

16/12/01 - Art Update. The fan art gallery has had two new original pieces added. The culture guide has also undergone a small revision with another new entry.

9/12/01 - Lotsa Little Updates. The "Golden Scissor Awards" has been added to the TV cuts section, a tongue-in-cheek look at the craziest cuts to the censored versions of Tenchi. The fan art gallery has two new pieces added, the culture guide has two new entries, and there is a new site in the links page (which have now been restructured to sort them in either date or alphabetical order).

5/12/01 - Cuts Guide Complete. At long last, the TV cuts guide is complete, covering all 66 episodes of Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo as broadcast on UK Cartoon Network.

25/11/01 - GXP Characters & Fan Art Addition. The fan art gallery has had another new picture added, and the OAV 3 info page now has details of the GXP series characters.

14/11/01 - Back on Schedule & Fan Art Additions. The Tenchi in Tokyo TV cuts guide resumes today following its brief hiatus caused by a scheduling change on UK Cartoon Network. The fan art gallery has also had two new pictures added.

27/10/01 - 30,000 Hits Reached.

22/10/01 - Tenchi in Tokyo Cuts Begin. With Tenchi in Tokyo finally beginning on UK Cartoon Network, the TV cuts guide has resumed. New pages will be added as each episode is screened over the next few weeks.

9/10/01 - Exciting News! The official Japanese website for Tenchi Muyo OAV3 and Tenchi Muyo GXP has launched, featuring new pictures from the series and a trailer for GXP. Slightly disappointingly, there is very little information on the third Tenchi Muyo OAV series, but this should appear here in the future. The OAV 3 Info page here has been updated to reflect the site launch, and includes a link to the Japanese site.

1/10/01 - Some Minor Changes. The cellphone melodies section has been updated, adding a couple of new ringtones and fixing the Nokia binary format tones (originally, they were too long to be sent via a single text message). The culture guide also has a couple of new entries.

19/9/01 - OAV Series 3 Section Added. A new section carrying information on the forthcoming third OAV series has been added. A new wallpaper has been added to the computer section.

13/9/01 - 25,000 Hits.

1/9/01 - Gallery Reopened. The image gallery has now been reopened.

17/8/01 - Server Move. The site has now moved to a new server after a few days' downtime - I was caught unawares by the sudden upturn in the number of visitors and used up a month's bandwidth in two weeks! In addition, the fan art gallery also has three new pictures.

24/7/01 - SNES Game Guide Updated. The strategy guide for the SNES RPG has been updated again, fixing some errors and omissions, adding Japanese text for move and location names, and introducing a text-only version of the guide.

22/7/01 - Third OAV Series Update. The series guide (OAV section) has been updated to include the latest information on the forthcoming third OAV series, following the official announcement of the expected release date of the long-awaited episode 14!

13/7/01 - Culture Guide Updated. The culture guide has been expanded again, adding a few new bits and pieces, including a sizeable new chunk on Japanese religion and its appearance in the Tenchi series.

22/6/01 - SNES Game Guide Updated. The strategy guide for the SNES RPG has been expanded to include a detailed list of enemies and locations in the game.

19/6/01 - Cuts Guide Updated. The TV cuts section now has complete cut lists for all episodes of the Tenchi Muyo OAVs and Tenchi Universe.

16/6/01 - Cellphone Melodies Section Added. Fancy a slice of Tenchi Muyo every time you get a phone call? The new cellphone ringtones section features a choice of melodies for Nokia, Siemens and Ericsson mobile phones. More ringtones will be added soon, hopefully including other models.

25/5/01 - Cuts Guide Updated. The TV cuts section now has information on the differences between the US and UK broadcasts, including screenshots of the different opening sequences. Thanks to Knux Five for the US broadcast information.

14/5/01 - Links and Banners Added. Pages for links to other sites and banners to link back to this site have been added. The series guide has been divided up into separate sections to reduce loading times.

10/5/01 - Movies Section Reopened. The movie files have been uploaded again and are now available for download in the movie section.

6/5/01 - More Song Lyrics Added. The song lyrics to "Forevermore" and "Dimension of Love", the songs featured in Tenchi Universe episodes 13 and 26 respectively have been added to the song lyrics section.

4/5/01 - 20,000 Hits! At last, after various site shutdowns, server moves and other assorted disasters, TM!AU has reached its 20,000th visitor. Big thanks to all who have supported and regularly visited this site.

22/4/01 - More Pictures. The image gallery has now had a sixth page added, featuring 18 more excellent pictures.

17/4/01 - Episode Guide Complete, Gallery Reopened. At last, the episode guide has been completed, featuring detailed summaries of all episodes of Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo and the three movies. In addition, the TV cuts guide has now reached 50% completion. The image gallery is now back up after moving to another server, and another picture has been added to the fan art gallery.

16/3/01 - Gallery and Movies Closed. Due to excessive bandwidth usage, I have regretfully had to close down the image gallery and movies sections. Rest assured that this situation is only temporary, and I will be relocating the files as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

26/2/01 - TV Cuts Guide Added. Another new section opens with a detailed list of cuts made for Tenchi Muyo's airing on US/UK television. At present, not all episodes are covered; a progress indicator is included on the front page of the section which gives the number completed, and more will be added as they are finished.

15/2/01 - Encyclopedia Added. A new section has been added - the mini-encyclopaedia. This contains definitions of words, names and terms in Tenchi Muyo. This section is still in its early stages, so it only has a few entries, but it is an ongoing project, and should grow as more data becomes available.

14/2/01 - Movie Guide and Song Lyrics Updated. The movies section, as promised, now has the detailed summary of the third movie "Haruka naru omoi" (aka "Tenchi Forever"). The lyrics to "Love Song ga kikoeru", the ending song from the third movie, have also been added to the song lyrics section.

5/2/01 - Movie Guide Added, Lots of Little Updates. The movies section in the guide has finally been added, with detailed summaries of the first two movies (the third will be added shortly). There are also two new songs in the song lyrics section, another picture in the fan art gallery, more Japanese and alternative English spellings of character names in the character profiles sections, and a whole host of other little changes too trivial and numerous to list.

20/1/01 - Episode Guide and Character Profiles Updated. Detailed episode summaries have been added for the first half, episodes 1-13, of the first TV series (Tenchi Universe). I have also replaced the grainy old VHS screen captures in the OAV episode guide with higher-quality DVD captures. There are now details of hidden frames in the OAV episodes (within each of the detailed summaries, where appropriate - episodes 7, 8 and 13), and a small section on deleted/altered animation at the bottom of the OAV episode list. The secondary characters section has now been split into secondary characters and bit parts to reduce loading times, and a couple of new profiles have been added.

13/1/01 - Series Guide Updated. Details of the forthcoming third OAV series, recently announced on AIC's website in an interview with Tenchi Muyo creator Masaki Kajishima, have been added to the series guide.

7/1/01 - Shockwave Game Added. The first update of the new year, and it's a special one! The first original Shockwave game, exclusive to TM!AU, has been added to the new Shockwave games section. Test your memory with the first of these fun games to play in your browser - Tenchi Tiles. There are also four new MIDI files in the music section and four new pictures in the fan art gallery.

21/12/00 - More New Stuff. A new song lyrics section has been added, featuring lyrics to selected Tenchi songs. A new video has also been added in the movies section; Mihoshi's Fairytale Dream, the opening sequence from the Mihoshi special OAV. Four new pictures have been added to the fan art gallery. Character portraits have been added in the secondary character profiles section. And finally, the home page now features a "calendar" picture that changes automatically every month (if you don't see it, make sure your browser has Javascript activated).

1/12/00 - Video File Updates. The beautiful closing sequence from the Special Edition LD of "Tenchi Muyo in Love!" has been added in RealVideo format to the video section, featuring the Japanese version of "Alchemy of Love" sung by Megumi Hayashibara. The RealVideo versions of the movie trailers and TV openings have been re-encoded to produce better image and sound quality without increasing the file size (the files now require RealPlayer 8 to play).

30/11/00 - Major Redesign. TM!AU has undergone extensive changes, and is looking better than ever. There is now a nifty new navigation bar on the left, replacing the clunky old menu system. There is now a fifth page in the image gallery with even more excellent pictures to enjoy.

15/11/00 - New Section Open. An episode guide has now been added to the guide section, with episode summaries and descriptions for the OAV series and "Tenchi in Tokyo" TV series. The guides for "Tenchi Universe" and the movies will be added at a later date.

2/11/00 - Fan Art Gallery Updated. Morden Night has provided 6 more original character pictures, and Lauren Holbrook has provided 3 pictures of Ryoko for the fan art gallery.

30/10/00 - 15,000 Hits! Another great milestone in this site's history. As thanks to all of you who have visited, the gallery has had a fourth page added with even more high-quality pics for your enjoyment.

22/10/00 - More Images. Added a few new pictures to the gallery, bringing the total of high-quality images there to more than 50! Added a new wallpaper to the computer stuff section. Changed guestbook and hit counter.

5/9/00 - Computer Goodies. Added the beginnings of a page of Tenchi-related computer stuff (desktop wallpaper, screensaver). Now available in the media gallery. Also added links to movie files from the series guide.

25/8/00 - Big Changes. The grand opening of the gallery pages, featuring fan works, scans, video and MIDI files. Updated the guide with a page on Japanese cultural references. Spruced up the fan fiction pages. Changed guestbook provider. Trimmed down the front page menu. Mirrored site on a faster server - the old Xoom site was proving frustratingly slow...

2/8/00 - Tenchi Guide. The first pages of a handy "guide to Tenchi" have been added. Packed with character profiles, series information and facts, it's the first port of call for all would-be Tenchi fans.
