Sasami
is having a frustrating job trying to get the other members of the
household
to contribute some money for the upkeep of the place — Ryoko and Ayeka
don't have jobs, and Mihoshi and Kiyone have already spent their month's
salary. To save money, Sasami decides to cut the food budget by making
everyone skip lunch. This isn't met with a great deal of support from
everyone else, so the girls decide they have to make money somehow,
and Mihoshi, Kiyone, Ryoko and Ayeka leave for Tokyo to get jobs. Since
they're still banned from using the inter-dimensional tunnel, they use
the last of their cash to buy train tickets to Tokyo.
In
her castle of crystal, Yugi is plotting. She sends her servant, Matori,
down into Tokyo to build her a castle at the edge of the bay.
The girls arrive
in Tokyo and set out to find part-time jobs. Before long, Ryoko has
found work in a pizzeria, although she is hardly the most dedicated
employee, preferring sleeping to answering the 'phone.
Ayeka's
waitressing job is far from successful too; her opinionated manner and
short temper is driving customers away. Mihoshi and Kiyone's jobs in
the kitchens of a drive-in restaurant are a complete disaster too, as
they manage to destroy the whole kitchen!
Meanwhile, back
in Okayama, Sasami grows increasingly exasperated at the financial
dire
straits as she mends her broken broom with tape for the 'n'th time.
However, Ryo-ohki has a moneymaking idea of her own — performing tricks
with Sasami for passers-by! They are soon raking in the cash!
Elsewhere in Tokyo,
Tenchi and Sakuya are out enjoying the sights. They drop into a café,
not realizing it is the same café where Ayeka works. Ayeka soon
spots them and chases them out of the building. Naturally, her boss
has had enough, and fires her. As Sakuya and Tenchi are running away,
Ryoko passes them on her pizza delivery bike, and she is so angry at
seeing Tenchi with Sakuya again that she stops watching where she is
going, and crashes the bike into the river!
Jobless
and impoverished, the girls' fortunes are floundering. However, they
spot a job on a construction site that will pay one million yen just
for pasting up paper walls. It's an easy enough job, but Mihoshi
still
manages to put her head through the wall! However, they don't realise
that Yugi's servant Matori is the site foreman, and they are being
made
to build the shell of a huge demonic construction worker, Daidarahoshi.
The demon complete, Matori brings it to life and it lumbers into
the bay
and begins building a massive castle for Yugi. The girls, angry at
not getting paid their million yen, chase the construction worker
and try
to destroy it. Mihoshi and Kiyone's shooting does nothing, but Kiyone
spots a weak point; the hole Mihoshi ripped in the wall, and they
shoot
at that. The worker collapses into the bay, taking the nearly-built
castle with it.
Broke, exhausted
and bedraggled, the girls hitchhike back to Okayama, only to find that
Sasami and Ryo-ohki have earned more than enough money for all of them!
