Episode 19 -	No Need for Runaways!

The fugitives finally get the chance to fill their stomachs after days without food when they stop at a space station for fuel and supplies. They enjoy a hearty meal at a gyūdon (beef-bowl) restaurant, but are unaware that while they are eating a pair of teenage miscreants, Amarube and Yura, are about to break into the Yagami as it sits in the dock. As they leave the restaurant, they are shocked to see the Yagami leave without them, with Katsuhito and Nobuyuki still on board! Determined to retrieve their spaceship, the gang boards Ryo-Ohki and gives chase, leaving behind Ayeka and Sasami, who were still eating. Abandoned at the space station, the princesses don't even have the money to pay for their meals!

Hot on the tail of the hijacked Yagami, Tenchi and the girls chase the ship through an asteroid field. Swerving about to avoid the asteroids, Ryo-Ohki almost hits another ship and ends up crashing into a large asteroid. The Yagami flies out of Ryo-Ohki's scanner range, and all hope of catching up with it seems lost.

Aboard the Yagami, Amarube and Yura celebrate their successful getaway, and wonder how to spend the money they will get from selling the Yagami. However, their elation is short-lived; a Galaxy Police probe spots the ship and, assuming that the princesses and their most-wanted cohorts are aboard, send details to GPHQ. Within minutes, dozens of Galaxy Police craft close in on the Yagami's location. Desperate to escape, Amarube and Yura flee at top speed, with the Galaxy Police in pursuit. However, their getaway is foiled when they find themselves completely surrounded by GP ships.

At that moment, a news report detailing the believed location of the fugitives is broadcast; Amarube and Yura finally realise that they have bitten off more than they can chew by stealing the ship of the universe's most-wanted renegades! Thanks to the information in the news report, Tenchi and the girls are back on the trail of their stolen spaceship. Ryoko commands Ryo-Ohki to head for the last known location of Yagami, heedless of the fact that the Galaxy Police are swarming into the region.

Meanwhile, Amarube and Yura make another bid for freedom, but they cannot outrun the Galaxy Police craft. Amarube thumps the Yagami's control panel in frustration and accidentally fires the laser cannon. The Galaxy Police return fire, and a ferocious battle ensues. Ryoko realises that they must catch up with the Yagami quickly before it is destroyed, but Ryo-Ohki is already at top speed. In desperation, Ryoko resorts to feeding Ryo-Ohki hot chilli sauce to supercharge her! With the extra boost of speed, they catch up with the Yagami in moments. However, Amarube and Yura have passed out from fear, and the Yagami is on a collision course with a supernova. Ryo-Ohki manoeuvres alongside the stricken vessel, and Tenchi and the girls rush aboard in time to change the ship's course and send it into a slingshot around the supernova. Catching the Galaxy Police off-guard, they escape from their pursuers, and eject Amarube and Yura in one of the escape pods.

With the ship back in their possession, the fugitives can continue their journey to Jurai. However, Tenchi suddenly remembers they have left Ayeka and Sasami behind at the space station, where the princesses are reduced to washing dishes at the beef-bowl restaurant to pay off their bill!
