Special -	Galaxy Police Mihoshi's Space Adventure

Accused by the others of being lazy, Mihoshi tries to defend her honour by recounting the tale of how she and her partner Kiyone solved the case of the Ultra Energy Matter robberies. The story takes place in flashback, with the regular Tenchi characters filling the major roles.

Brave young Galaxy Police investigator Tenchi takes on more than he can handle when pursuing the wanted space criminal Ryoko who is responsible for the Ultra Energy Matter robberies, and winds up being kidnapped. At the request of Queen Ayeka, investigator Tenchi's fiancée, Mihoshi and Kiyone are sent to rescue him. Finding her hideout, Ayeka and the intrepid officers break in and find Ryoko trying to seduce Tenchi. Ayeka goes ballistic and wrecks the hideout. Defeated, Ryoko is arrested and locked up at Galaxy Police headquarters.

A photograph found at Ryoko's hideout gives the GP a vital clue into who is behind the Ultra Energy Matter robberies - the dangerous mad scientist, Dr. Washu. Taking pity on Ryoko, Mihoshi releases her from her cell, whereupon she blasts her way out of GP headquarters, kidnaps Tenchi again and steals a spaceship to make her getaway. Along with Queen Ayeka and GP trainee Sasami, Mihoshi and Kiyone chase Ryoko to Dr. Washu's battleship, where they fall foul of one of Washu's traps. Captured by the insane Dr. Washu, Ayeka, Mihoshi and Kiyone are treated to a demonstration of her terrifying universe destroyer machine, a robot that can smash holes in the fabric of space-time with huge mallets. Meanwhile, Sasami, who became separated from the rest of the group, is advised by Ryo-Ohki (who, bizarrely, is now able to talk) to transform into Pretty Sammy and save the day with her magical powers. Just as the situation is seeming desperate for the others, Pretty Sammy bursts onto the scene, puts a stop to Dr. Washu's plans and releases Ayeka, Mihoshi and Kiyone. Just as Kiyone is making a dash for the universe destroyer's remote control, Mihoshi slips on an inconvenient banana skin, topples into Kiyone and sends her plummeting into the reactor, destroying the ship. On the way back to headquarters, Mihoshi and Kiyone ponder the identity of the mysterious magical girl Pretty Sammy.

Thus ends Mihoshi's ludicrous tale, and no-one but Ryo-Ohki has managed to stay awake to hear its conclusion. Glancing towards the skies, Mihoshi thanks Kiyone once again for her "brave sacrifice", unaware that billions of miles away, Kiyone is still alive and furious, stranded on a piece of wreckage in deep space and swearing to kill Mihoshi if she ever sees her again!
