| Sachi tÅkaraji gojitsu dan | |
| Release date - | 25th September 1995 |
Mihoshi returns from headquarters and comes to find Washu in her laboratory. Washu is busy as ever, this time with Ryoko in Tenchi's usual spot (namely, stripped to her undies and trussed up to one of Washu's machines). Mihoshi and Washu discuss the Dr. Clay case over tea and rice crackers. Washu is interested to know what Clay thought of her gift; a replica antique chamber pot that she herself fabricated at the Academy. Much to her amusement, and Mihoshi's puzzlement, Dr. Clay was suitably displeased. Ryoko, in her current uncomfortable position, is perhaps the only one to feel sympathy for Dr. Clay to be on the receiving end of one of Washu's practical jokes.
Mihoshi suddenly remembers she has a message from the Galaxy Police for Washu, requesting to borrow Ryoko. Clay's memory of Lady Tokimi has vanished, but Washu is not surprised — the same memories are also missing from Zero-Ryoko's mind, which she surmises must be part of a protection mechanism designed to keep Lady Tokimi's identity and location secret. Her curiosity satisfied, Washu decides to call it a day and goes to bed. However, she has left Ryoko in the lab. Thinking she is all alone, Ryoko calls for Washu to release her, her cries becoming ever more plaintive as she realises no-one can hear her. But Washu is still there, recording Ryoko's pleading on her video camera!
Meanwhile, in Lady Tokimi's domain, D3 reports that he has blocked Dr. Clay and Zero-Ryoko's memories. Tokimi has become interested in Tenchi following his escape from Dr. Clay's ship, and is using her ability to see into the near future to determine the best course of action. D3 summons a mysterious warrior, Z, and Tokimi orders him not to harm Tenchi.
