Episode 11 -	The Advent of the Goddess

Out in deep space, an immense spaceship, resembling a woman in a long flowing gown, drifts towards some unknown target. From it a scout ship is launched, which speeds towards the debris from some ferocious spaceship battle. Aboard the ship is Dr. Clay and his robotic servant Zero. They survey the wreckage, and Clay reaches a decision. He reports back to his superior, D3, and demands to see Lady Tokimi regarding the location of a person Clay believes Tokimi is searching for. Tokimi appears before him and tells him that he is correct in assuming that she is seeking Washu, and that if he manages to capture her, she will grant him leadership of an entire galaxy. After the meeting, Zero is uneasy; it cannot understand how Lady Tokimi, a theoretical impossibility, is able to exist.

On Earth, Sasami and Mihoshi are busy cooking, while Ryoko is out buying sake. On the way home, Ryoko senses a presence, and turns to see Zero standing behind her. Zero captures her in a viscous substance and transforms into an exact clone of Ryoko. However, the Ryoko clone is not perfect; the gem on her wrist becomes unstable and explodes. Obviously, the gems are too difficult to copy, so Zero takes Ryoko's real gem, and she is spirited away onto Dr. Clay's ship.

Back at the house, Tenchi finds himself the reluctant participant in Washu's experiments once again when he thinks he hears Ryoko cry out his name. Sasami calls them both for dinner, but Ryoko has still not turned up. Tenchi sets out to search for her, but finds Ryoko's clone waiting outside the house. When Zero-Ryoko first lays eyes on Tenchi, she blushes bright red — Zero copied Ryoko's emotions to a tee, but is unaccustomed to such strong feelings. She joins everyone back in the house.

The following day, Zero-Ryoko tries several attempts to capture Washu, but all of them are foiled as she blushes and clams up the moment Tenchi comes anywhere near her. In the meantime, Mihoshi responds to an emergency call from GP headquarters and sets out to investigate the robbery of a Galaxy Police battleship. At dinner that day, everyone notices how oddly Ryoko is acting.

The next day, Washu drags Zero-Ryoko off for a bath. Zero thinks she has the perfect opportunity to kidnap Washu, but Washu is too wily to be caught out. While she is scrubbing Ryoko's back, she spots an emblem on her behind, and this confirms what she suspected; this Ryoko is a fake. She turns this to her advantage by giving Zero-Ryoko all the most unpleasant household chores to do. By this time, Zero has become so distracted that she forgets her mission, and it takes a stern reminder from Dr. Clay to get her mind back on the job. He tells Zero that she must first kill Tenchi to eliminate this distraction. That night, she sneaks into Tenchi's room, energy dagger in hand, and brings the blade down on Tenchi's sleeping form...
