Gyokuren, Hakuren, Karen & Suiren


These four girls are Seto's ladies-in-waiting, though they are actually Renzan, and not from any planet in the Juraian empire. Though their initial advances towards Seina appear to be nothing more than harmless flirting (they take every opportunity to accost him whenever he visits the royal palace), they are after more than just his body...

	Kai Masaki Kai is Kiriko's younger brother, and one of Seina's oldest friends. In fact, he was Seina's only childhood friend, since his bad luck normally scared off the other children, and it is through Kai that Seina came to know Kiriko. Kai is also unaware of his sister's high-flying Galaxy Police career.

	Japanese Voice:	Suganuma Hisayoshi

	English Voice:	Angus MacDonald

	Kanemitsu Hirata Naval commander of the 7th Juraian armada, Kanemitsu Hirata is a close ally of Lady Seto, though like many he only just tolerates her capriciousness. He initially comes across as a rather serious fellow, but we later discover he has penchant for wine, women and song when, after accepting the task of training up Seina for a duel, he suggests a night on the town instead!

	English Voice:	Dave Mallow

	Minaho Masaki alternative spelling: Mizuho (common incorrect romanization) Minaho Masaki is Lady Seto's intelligence officer. Her surname is no coincidence — she is the daughter of Airi Masaki, and sister of Tenchi Masaki's mother Kiyone.

	Japanese Voice:	Yūko Nagashima

	English Voice:	Kari Wahlgren (credited as Renee Emerson)

	Minami Kuramitsu Father of Mitoto and brother of GP Academy principal Mikami, Minami makes a brief appearance in episode 4, welcoming Seina to the Academy. Once the chief marshall of the Galaxy Police, he has since been demoted to head of maintenance at the spaceship docks as punishment for his part in the Chobimaru affair (see Tenchi Muyo! OVA series episodes 16-20)

	English Voice:	Michael McConnohie

	Yoshiko Yamada Seina's little sister Yoshiko doesn't suffer from the same horrendous luck as her brother, and is a normal (though excessively energetic) young girl. She often indulges in a little sibling antagonism, teasing her brother mercilessly (as if he didn't have enough problems!).

	English Voice:	Kari Wahlgren (credited as Renee Emerson)

	Mr. & Mrs. Yamada Seina's long-suffering parents run the family grocery store. When the opportunity to send their luckless son off to a promising career in the Galaxy Police arises they are all to glad too let him leave, mainly because they will finally be rid of the medical expenses and repair bills he incurs!

	English Voices:	Mr. Yamada - Tony Oliver (credited as Raphael Antonio) Mrs. Yamada - Julia Maddalena

	Transporter Captain The unnamed captain of the Galaxy Police transporter vessel seen in episodes 1-4. He is a sober fellow who takes his job very seriously, which is why he is constantly frustrated at antics of the irresponsible trio of Alan, Barry and Cohen.

	Mr. & Mrs. Kaunaq Amane's parents are the founders and owners of the enormously popular Kaunaq fashion house. Neither of them are particularly happy about their daughter running off to join the Galaxy Police, but Mrs. Kaunaq is more sanguine about it than her husband. However, they ultimately realise that Amane's happiness is the most important thing.

	Mr. Balouta The distinguished-looking Mr. Balouta is Ryoko's grandfather, and the sole remaining member of the ancient Balouta dynasty. When Ryoko is discovered to be the only living heir to the dynasty, he plans with Lady Seto to resurrect the kingdom and oppose the Da Ruma guild.

	English Voice:	Steve Kramer

	Captain & Naoko When Alan, Barry and Cohen are reassigned after their brief spell under Seina's command, they wind up aboard a spaceship under this short-tempered captain and his attractive officer Naoko. It soon becomes apparent, through a series of melodramatic daytime soap opera-style scenes, that Naoko and the captain are having an affair, and she is expecting his baby!

	Utsutsumi Kamiki This hirsute fellow is Lady Seto's ever-patient husband, Utsutsumi. For Juraian royalty, he is remarkably laid back, taking life quietly in his stride (and with a wife like his, can you blame him?).

	English Voice:	Richard Epcar (credited as Richard George)

	Vega alternative spelling: Bega One of the galaxy's top fashion models, Vega is an old rival of Amane's from her modelling days. She is pompous, arrogant and convinced of her own superiority. She takes the opportunity to show Amane up when they go head-to-head in a special Galaxy Police fashion show, but Amane proves there is more to modelling than just looking good.

	Jun alternative spelling: June Another face from Amane's pre-Galaxy Police modelling days, and a good friend of hers. When Amane meets her again, she begins to wonder if she should return to modelling for good.

	Amame & Kazuki Yotsuga Making only a very brief appearance in the series, Amame and Kazuki Yotsuga are the parents of Azusa, emperor of Jurai (making them grandparents to Yosho, Ayeka and Sasami, and great-great-grandparents to Tenchi).

	NaBiko alternative spelling: NaB-Ko NaBiko is a wildly possessive girlbot who goes to extremes to get what she wants, and what she wants is NB — even if it means pursuing the reluctant robot halfway across the galaxy! NB's encounters with NaBiko are sufficiently terrifying to put him off his girl-watching for a while...

	English Voice:	Sandy Fox (credited as Marie Danielle)

	Misao Kuramitsu Misao Kuramitsu is Mitoto's son, younger brother of Mihoshi. The former captain of the Chobimaru, he is now an officer in the Galaxy Army, the military wing of the Galaxy Police. He seems to have progressed from the emotionally unstable milquetoast we saw him as a year earlier in the third Tenchi Muyo! OVA series to become an upstanding, honourable and confident young man.

	English Voice:	Dave Mallow

	Mashisu Kuramitsu Mashisu is Misao's fiancée, and has recently been appointed captain of the Chobimaru, an enormous spherical battleship. She comes to the aid of Seina's crew at a time of need.

	Wau Villagers When Seina is shot down by space pirates, he crashes on a planet where there lives a primitive tribe of Wau. Seina saves the life of a young Wau, and in gratitude the villagers take him in. The peace-loving Wau villagers have recently been under threat by space pirates, who have set up a base nearby. The village elder thinks that Seina is a bold warrior sent to them to free them from tyranny, but the young Wau knows that the elder is full of hot air when it comes to ancient prophecies!
