Kai
Masaki Kai is Kiriko's younger brother, and one of Seina's oldest friends. In fact, he was Seina's only childhood friend, since his bad luck normally scared off the other children, and it is through Kai that Seina came to know Kiriko. Kai is also unaware of his sister's high-flying Galaxy Police career. |

Kanemitsu
Hirata Naval commander of the 7th Juraian armada, Kanemitsu Hirata is a close ally of Lady Seto, though like many he only just tolerates her capriciousness. He initially comes across as a rather serious fellow, but we later discover he has penchant for wine, women and song when, after accepting the task of training up Seina for a duel, he suggests a night on the town instead! |

Minaho

Kuramitsu Father of Mitoto and brother of GP Academy principal Mikami, Minami makes a brief appearance in episode 4, welcoming Seina to the Academy. Once the chief marshall of the Galaxy Police, he has since been demoted to head of maintenance at the spaceship docks as punishment for his part in the Chobimaru affair (see Tenchi Muyo! OVA series episodes 16-20) |

Yoshiko

& Mrs. Kaunaq Amane's parents are the founders and owners of the enormously popular Kaunaq fashion house. Neither of them are particularly happy about their daughter running off to join the Galaxy Police, but Mrs. Kaunaq is more sanguine about it than her husband. However, they ultimately realise that Amane's happiness is the most important thing. |

Captain
& Naoko When Alan, Barry and Cohen are reassigned after their brief spell under Seina's command, they wind up aboard a spaceship under this short-tempered captain and his attractive officer Naoko. It soon becomes apparent, through a series of melodramatic daytime soap opera-style scenes, that Naoko and the captain are having an affair, and she is expecting his baby! |

He seems to have progressed from the emotionally unstable milquetoast we saw him as a year earlier in the third Tenchi Muyo! OVA series to become an upstanding, honourable and confident young man. |

Wau
Villagers When Seina is shot down by space pirates, he crashes on a planet where there lives a primitive tribe of Wau. Seina saves the life of a young Wau, and in gratitude the villagers take him in. The peace-loving Wau villagers have recently been under threat by space pirates, who have set up a base nearby. The village elder thinks that Seina is a bold warrior sent to them to free them from tyranny, but the young Wau knows that the elder is full of hot air when it comes to ancient prophecies! |
