Airi is
chairwoman of the GP Academy, although her passionate and capricious
temperament makes her rather ill-suited to an office job. She is a
former priestess of the Arai religion. She is also Yosho's wife and
Tenchi Masaki's grandmother (although she doesn't take kindly to anyone
who actually points out she is a granny!). She often collaborates
with Mikami Kuramitsu, the principal of the Academy, meddling in the
affairs of others, particularly Seina and his admirers! |

Known to many as the "Devil Princess of Jurai",
Seto Kamiki Jurai is feared among pirates and honest spacefarers
alike.
Her Juraian royal tree and ship is called Mikagami, and is similarly
feared for its devastating "Triple Z" attack, capable
of disabling every spaceship in the immediate vicinity. Seto wields
a
considerable amount of power on Jurai, especially in matters of arranged
marriages, where she has appointed herself matchmaker for members
of the royal family and just about anyone else who crosses her path! |

NB
Because Seina is one of only two people from Earth,
a relatively primitive planet, to ever join the Galaxy Police, the
Academy provides him with an artificially intelligent assistant robot.
Things go well until Amane tries tinkering with it, resulting in it
acquiring an outrageously perverted personality. NB likes nothing
better than peeping at girls, and usually gets everyone else into
trouble when he ends up getting caught (and savagely beaten)! |

Elma, a white-furred Wau, is Airi's personal secretary
at the Academy. Seina meets her shortly after arriving at the Academy
and she takes an immediate interest in him. She even moves into Amane's
house while Seina is doing his training there to keep an eye on him.
However, her loyalties seem to lie elsewhere, outside the Academy. |

Principal of the GP Academy, Mikami Kuramitsu is a
clever and canny overseer, and along with co-conspirator Airi a major
guiding force in the lives of Seina, Amane and Kiriko. She assigns
the two girls as instructors at the Academy to keep an eye on Seina,
and leads Seina himself along the path of his burgeoning career in
the Galaxy Police. |

The same Seiryo that appeared in episode 13 of the
Tenchi Muyo! OVA series, Seiryo has since become an instructor
at the GP Academy. He is still as arrogant as ever, and his hatred
of Earthlings means he takes great delight in making Seina's life
a misery, especially when he finds out his childhood sweetheart Amane
has eyes for the lad. His family runs a large and wealthy business
conglomerate, and the loyal Seiryo will do anything to ensure its
continued success, including making deals with space pirates! |

Universally reknowned, feared even by his peers, Tarant
Shunk is a notoriously vicious space pirate captain who commands a
fleet of ships crewed by similarly bloodthirsty brigands. Aboard his
flagship, the Daidalos, he spreads terror throughout the space routes.
His first encounter with Seina Yamada leaves him nursing scars and
holding a murderous grudge against the boy. |

General Da Ruma, head of the Da Ruma guild of space
pirates, seeks nothing less than conquest of the entire galaxy, and
of course the power and vast riches that would bring. He presides
over operations from his vast pirate base, commanding armies of space
pirates who do the dirty work for him and surrounding himself with
admiring floozies. |

For a space pirate captain, Komachi is suprisingly
noble, eschewing the unnecessary brutality of her compatriots. When
Seina saves her life upon their first meeting, she honours her debt
to him to the very end. She also aids Seiryo's escape when he is kidnapped
by the guild. |
